Steps to God and Life Explained:


A lot of people are alive but never truly live.  Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10). The process by which this life is found and lived is outlined in Matthew 28:19,20.  In a study of this passage we see that Jesus desires everyone to:

1.Connected to God,

2.Connected to Christian People

3.Connect to Serve


You can see this illustrated to the right.  Each area is represented by a circle and only when all three areas are actively pursued do we begin to experience God and the life He brings.


At First Baptist Church we want to help you connect to God, people and service.  This is our GPS, our God Positioning System.  As long as we are pursuing these steps in a healthy way, we will be on course to truly experience God and the life He gives.
